I haven't seen Scott since 1984, which I believe was his last year in residency in Rochester, but I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I was a year behind Scott in residency and will always remember his compassion, wisdom, clinical insight and teaching skills as well as his zest for life. Nearly 30 years after our paths crossed I still feel his influence on how I practice medicine. Thank you, Scott and my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
