He always seemed to ask the questions you really hoped no one would ask because they challenged your assumptions and questioned your results. He never asked them maliciously - but only a deep desire to understand and ensure that the best care was delivered to our Veterans. I believe his questions and his quest for answers were a real gift to the Veterans that we served. These questions pushed all of us to look for better answers and better solutions.
