It is hard to fathom how much our world will miss Scott. He was the kind of doctor that I wish my aging parents could have had. He was the kind of scholar who inspired me to search for better answers, He was the kind of colleague who made a career striving for excellence. And he was the kind of co-worker who remembered the quirky things I liked (think red hot jaw breakers and wind up flashlights).
It is hard to fathom how much I will miss Scott. But the memories of Scott, his love for his family, and his far ranging interests will remain dear. How fortunate I am to have shared my VA career with Scott. For that I am ever grateful.
